The Artist


Tony Scott is very well traveled throughout Asia Pacific and has held over 40 solo and group exhibitions in China since 1994 when he staged his first solo exhibition in Beijing at the prestigious Red Gate gallery. He is also an experienced curator. Scott's art work is an exploration into materials. He manipulates and tests various surfaces in his work, constantly experimenting with pigment and processes, always incorporating his technical training to creating conceptually strong pieces of aesthetic appeal. He has works in many private collections and has done commissions for the Grand Hyatt Beijing, Four Seasons Hong Kong, Crown Casino and Hotels Melbourne, Australian National Bank London & Melbourne, Standard Chartered Bank Tokyo, Ritz Carlton Beijing, Galaxy and Studio City Macau, Park Hyatt Sanya, Beijing and Guangzhou and Shangri La Hotels in Hong Kong, Dalian, Xiamen, China, St Regis Chengdu and Park Hyatt Sanya China.
