The Artist
Whether painting or making an installation out of unusual objects, Anna Spakowska is always emphasizing the beauty and the distinct possibilities that each chosen medium or technique has a lot offer. Using her long-term experience as a designer she always integrates the art piece with its surrounding architecture. Following her passion for design among the array of her artworks she has developed a series of acoustic art panels.The work presented here is a part of a whole series dedicated to boxing fights, made while closely studying the core of what this discipline is all about. Painted with black ink on huge sheets of paper, the artworks express the intensity and the movement so exceptionally unique to boxing.
